I personally have been told my next steps at the company after only a year in my first role. I’ve also seen the emphasis on growth across departments as we share those celebrations on Slack. It’s nice to be able to see not only my teammates and myself grow but it happen across the company throughout the year often.

I was expected to have used up 95% of my vacation time in 2021, until I got Covid, and swapped my last week of PTO out for sick leave. Our company emphasizes mental health from our CEO down to my teammates. It’s refreshing.

People mean well. They’re only drawback is there being a lack of diversity. Inclusion can only happen when the community you’re entering is diverse. Productboard has room to improve here. Though, our CEO will only hire a diverse two execs for our two open exec positions which gives me hope.

I do get empathetic feedback, I just wish I would get more. Maybe not the worst thing to fuss about. But I’ve had many colleagues, not just my manager, let me know what I should work on. I’ve seen myself grow SO much professionally and personally.
